Verify the Last 4 Digits of Your Account Number

The last four digits of your Discover card account appear at the top and bottom of every e-mail. Check to make sure the numbers match your account.

Check the Sender's Address

E-mails from Discover will come from one of these addresses:

  • discover@email.discover.com
  • service@email.discover.com
  • websupport@service.discovercard.com
  • discoverbusinesscard@email.discovercard.com
  • discover@service.discover.com

Help prevent spam and ensure safe delivery of legitimate e-mails by adding these addresses to your address book.

E-mails to Be Cautious of:

Discover will never send you any e-mail that requests you to reply directly in an e-mail with any personal information such as:

  • Account numbers
  • Cardmember ID (CID)
  • Card expiration date
  • Account Center user ID or password
  • Birth date
  • Social security number

Any request for information regarding your account will require you to log in to your account which is protected by the secure firewall of Discover.com.

 

If You Suspect You've Received a Fraudulent E-mail:

If you receive an e-mail that claims to be from Discover that you suspect might be fraudulent, call 1-800-DISCOVER
(1-800-347-2683) or e-mail us at emailwatch@discover.com immediately. A Customer Service Representative can verify whether or not the e-mail was actually sent by Discover.
